RECIPE: Homemade Ginger-Lemon Tea
1 tablespoon fresh grated or sliced ginger
1 cup water
1 tsp honey (or more if desired)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and lemon slice
- Grate the ginger. Or slice the ginger thinly. You can use more than 1 tablespoon when sliced due to its more subdued flavour.
- Add ginger, lemon juice, lemon slice and honey to a mug. Pour boiled water. Let sit for 10 minutes to steep and enjoy!
Alternatively, if you do not like bits of ginger in your mug, you can steep the grated ginger in a pot and/or pour into the mug with a sieve to catch the ginger bits.
Makes 1 serving.
